Plainville takes the Trojans

The Plainville Cardinal boys team came to Logan off a win to finish 3rd in the MCL Basketball tournament.  Their size, depth, and speed proved to be too much for both the Logan JV and varsity boy’s teams.  The JV game was extremely fast paced and the Cardinals were able to pour in the points to win 39-68.  The varsity boys were faced with a very aggressive in your face man-to-man defense.  This defense led to the Trojans only being able to score 7 total field goals for the game.  On the bright side, all six Trojans who checked into the game, contributed to the scoreboard.  The Trojans fell short by a score of 30-44.   The schedule doesn’t let up for the Trojans as they host the Northern Valley Huskies on Friday, Jan. 27.
