Girls finish 4th in tournament

In the semifinals of the Sagebrush Shootout the Lady Logan Trojans faced the hometown Triplains/Brewster Titans.  Cold shooting and turnovers plagued the Trojans for the night.  At half neither team had found their stride and Logan was ahead 8-7.  A 24-point second half by the Titans secured their 21-31 victory over the Trojans.

In the consolation game, the Lady Trojans faced St. Francis.  The difficulties of the previous night showed up again for the Trojans during the second quarter when they didn't score and found themselves trailing 11-21 at half.  Coach Waters made some halftime adjustments and things went much better as the score was tied at 36 at the end of regulation.  Unfortunately, the Indians got hot in overtime and out scored the Trojans 13 to 2.  Logan lost 38-49 and finished in 4th place at the tournament.

Congratulations to Karlee Braun as she was the girls 3-point champion for the tournament.
