Course Description:
In this class we develop new video for the school’s TV channel (channel 159). Since this start-to-finish process is entirely hands-on, there is no textbook.
Course Objectives:
Students will begin their video by storyboarding an idea, writing a script, shooting video, editing their footage, adding/deleting sound, and exporting a finished product. Students will use iMovie for their editing; prior knowledge of this tool is helpful but not mandatory.
Method of Instruction:
This course will be taught through hands-on use of video cameras and laptops. Students will usually work individually, but groups could be used for bigger projects.
