Method of Evaluation:
Students’ grades will be made up of two parts:
A. 50% for quizzes, homework, and worksheets
B. 50% for chapter and semester tests
Assignments must be completed before they are turned in to the instructor. Any assignment turned in one day late will receive only ½ credit. Although any assignment turned in later than this will receive no credit, all assignments must be turned in or an incomplete will be recorded in the gradebook. If a student has an excused absence, he/she has two days to turn in the missing work for every day missed. (This may be lengthened by the instructor for special circumstances: extreme illness, death in family, etc.)
The grading scale is as follows:
A+=97.5%-100% C+=76.5%-79.4%
A=93.5%-97.4% C=72.5%-76.4%
A-=89.5%-93.4% C-=69.5%-72.4%
B+=86.5%-89.4% D+=66.5%-69.4%
B=82.5%-86.4% D=62.5%-66.4%
B-=79.5%-82.4% D-=59.6%-62.4%
