Dear Logan USD Families and Community Members,
It is both an honor and a privilege to introduce myself as the new principal of Logan USD. My husband and I have been married for more than 30 years, and we are the proud parents of two `sons. Education has been my life's work, and I have been blessed to spend more than 40 years serving students, teachers, and schools.
As I begin this new chapter, I have already seen that Logan is a special place. The pride in this community, the strong family values, and the support for students are evident everywhere. Small communities like Logan have a unique strength—a close-knit spirit where people know one another, care for each other, and work together. That is something I deeply appreciate and am excited to become a part of.
Logan USD already has many great things happening, and I look forward to building on that strong foundation. My goal is not to change what makes Logan special, but to listen, learn, and work alongside students, staff, parents, and community members to help our school continue to grow and succeed.
I believe the foundation of any successful school is strong relationships. By getting to know our students, supporting our outstanding teachers and staff, and partnering with our families, we can create an environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. Open communication and transparency will always be priorities for me. I believe that when we communicate honestly, listen respectfully, and work together, we make better decisions for everyone.
Together, we can strengthen the bond between our school and community while always keeping the best interests of our students at the center of every decision. Our shared commitment to education, character, and opportunity will help prepare our young people for successful futures while preserving the values that make Logan such a wonderful place to call home.
I look forward to meeting each of you in the weeks and months ahead. Thank you for welcoming my family and me into your community. I am excited about what we can accomplish together, and I am honored to serve the students, families, and community of Logan USD.
