Behavior Plan

Working...

Your child will have a clip on a chart that he/she will physically

move up or down the chart, depending on his/her choices.

Please keep in mind that your child may not move every single day. Remaining on

green throughout the day represents a great day! In order to move up, students must

go above and beyond in their behavior choices. The chart below explains how the

clip chart works.

Red

Outstanding!

Students who reach the red level will be rewarded for their

positive choices by adding a jewel to their clip. A clip is retired

after five jewels and another clip begins. Woo-hoo!

Orange

Great Choice!

Students who continue to make positive choices move up to the

orange level. They are one step closer to having outstanding

classroom behavior!

Yellow

Good Choice!

Making good choices will help students move to the yellow section

of the clip chart.

Green

Ready to Learn!

Everyone starts the day “Ready to Learn”! Students can “clip up”

or “clip down” throughout the day depending on their behavior

choices.

Blue

Think About It!

Students who receive a second warning will move to blue. A

verbal warning has been given to students as a reminder prior to

moving to blue. Blue serves as a reminder for students to think

about the choices they make.

Purple

Teacher Choice!

Students who continue to make poor choices, will move to purple.

This will result in loss of a portion of “free choice” during recess

Pink

Parent Contact…

Students who move to pink will miss a privileged activity in it’s

entirety. During that time, students will complete a behavior

reflection log to be signed by a parent. Parents will be contacted

via telephone or email.

I believe that this system will be a positive way for students to monitor their choices

and will give them behavior goals to strive for! As always, if you have any questions,

please feel free to get in touch!

Thank you! !
