Patiently raising our hands.

Opening our eyes and ears.

Letting our classmates listen.

In your seats we will stay.

Trying our best each and everyday.

Each of us being…. “POLITE!”

  Rewards

1.  Verbal and written praises

2.  Friday Fun

3.  Whole class reward (COMPLIMENT)

Discipline

(Individual)

Each student will be given tickets for showing positive behaviors in class.  If the student has earned eight tickets by Friday, he/she will earn “Friday Fun” in the computer lab.  Students who have earned more than eight tickets will be able to put the remaining tickets in a drawing for the treasure basket. However, if a student shows negative behavior, tickets can be taken away. The more tickets each student has earned through the week, the higher the chances of being chosen for the treasure basket.

(Whole Class)

There is a designated spot on the wall in our classroom where the word “Compliment” will be posted.  On the first day of school I like to give them a head start by giving them the first letter.  Each time the class gets a compliment either from a parent, administrator, or other teacher, the class receives the following letter two the word.  Once the class has earned enough compliments to spell out the whole word, they will receive there class reward that they had been working for.
