FCA students officiate for State Special Olympics Basketball Tournament
Launch the media gallery 1 playerLogan took 6 students and 1 teacher to Hays on Saturday, March 19 for the Kansas State Special Olympics Basketball Tournament held in Hays. The boys helped officiate 5 basketball games during the day at Hays Recreation and Cydnee helped keep score and run the clock.
Mr. Paul Prewo has been taking kids to help with this for 14 years (minus the 2 COVID years when it was cancelled). He began helping with this while in high school which left a lasting impression on him. He wanted to teach others the importance of volunteering for event.
