Trojans travel to Norton

 The Logan track and field team traveled to Norton on Friday, April 7 for the annual Norton invitational meet.  The schools competing in the meet included Norton, Phillipsburg, Logan, Colby, Goodland, and Northern Valley.

The Logan athletes who placed in the top five of their events included:  Riley Allen - 3rd boys 200 meter dash and 4th boys high jump, Faith Hofaker - 5th girls mile, Jesse Bebb - 2nd boys mile, Karlee Braun, Crystal Bliss, Ryann Kats, and Harlee Voss - 4th girls 4x100 meter relay, Ryann Kats - 4th girls 400 meter dash and 5th girls pole vault , Madison Gottstine - 5th girls 800 meter run, Karlee Braun, Crystal Bliss, Faith Hofaker, and Ryann Kats - 2nd girls 4x400 meter relay, Alyssa DeBoer - 3rd girls discus, Camryn Greving - 5th girls javelin and 1st girls shot put, Josh Van Laeys - 4th boys javelin,  Lexi Hilburn- 2nd girls shot put,  Michael Daniels - 5th boys shot put.  

The LHS girls team placed 7th overall and the boys team placed 6th.

The LHS tracksters had at least one team member placing in the top five in fifteen different events.  Good job Trojans and good luck at Colby & Stockton on Tuesday, April 11!
