Logan volleyball team places 4th in Mankato
The Logan Lady Trojans traveled to Mankato on Sat., Oct. 1 to compete in the Rock Hills Volleyball Invitational. Logan went 2-3 on the day with wins against Osborne 25-18, 25-10 and Pike Valley 25-20, 25-22. They lost to St. John's Tipton in pool play 13-25, 15-25. In bracket play, Logan lost their first game to Thunder Ridge 22-25, 18-25, moving them to the consolation match. In this final game of the day, Logan beat Clifton-Clyde in the first set 25-16, but lost the second set 21-25. The third set proved exciting as the two teams went neck and neck up to the very end. The Trojans couldn't hold on, losing 27-25.
