LHS girls season comes to an end

Friday, March 4 the Logan girls traveled to Grainfield for the semifinal game of the sub-state basketball tournament against Golden Plains. This final game of the season for the Logan Trojans could be describe as the tale of two halves.  The first half found the Trojans behind 19-8, then in the second half they outscored the Golden Plains Bulldogs 27-20.  Unfortunately the second half was not enough and the Bulldogs defeated the Trojans by the score of 35-39.  The Trojans were stifled by the Bulldog defense the first half as they only could come up with 8 points.  Turnovers and a 24% field goal percentage plagued them for the game.  The Trojans were led by senior, Makayla Hilburn with 9 points, sophomore, Ryann Kats with 9 points and senior, Christen Greving with 8 points and 11 rebounds.  Junior Karlee Braun had 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.  Logan finished the season with a record of 13-8.
