Lady Trojans place 3rd in League Tourney
On Thursday Oct. 15, the Logan Lady Trojans traveled to Wheatland High School for Day 1 of the WKLL volleyball tournament. The Trojans prevailed in a tough game against Golden Plains, going to 3 sets 25-16, 20-25, and 25-18, and then beat Triplains-Brewster 25-10, 25-18.
On Day 2 of the tournament, the Logan girls finished with pool play in Brewster by winning against Western Plains and Healy and moving into final bracket play.The Trojans couldn't quite get past Wheatland-Grinnell in the semi-finals, losing 25-14 and 28-26. This moved the Trojans to the consolation match versus Golden Plains, playing them for the 3rd time this season. The Trojans came out on top in 2 sets 25-23, 25-11 placing them third in the League behind Northern Valley and Wheatland-Grinnell.
